Allegra Marketing Print Mail in Providence and East Greenwich Join Forces
Strategic Acquisition to Focus on Local Business Marketing
and Promotion Success
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The ink is dry on an acquisition combining two Allegra Marketing Print Mail companies serving local businesses and nonprofits.
Allegra Marketing Print Mail in Providence has officially acquired Allegra Marketing Print Mail in East Greenwich, bringing the same services local businesses know and love into one full-service provider. Continuing to serve local small and mid-size businesses in Providence and the surrounding areas, the company will now operate solely as Allegra Marketing Print Mail Providence, located at 102 Waterman Street.
“Allegra has built a strong reputation in the East Greenwich and Providence communities. Combining our resources further enhances our ability to deliver comprehensive marketing and high-impact printing services to area nonprofits and businesses in the retail, education, financial, health and service industries,” said Bud McCann, owner of Allegra in Providence. “Through the merger, we were able to continue serving both business communities seamlessly with all of their printing needs and bring many existing Allegra East Greenwich employees to the Providence location with us in the process. The previous owner will now be able to retire knowing the business and employees are in good hands—a silver lining in what was previously an incredibly stressful year for local businessowners and employees alike.”
In addition to marketing consultation and graphic design services, Allegra features advanced printing technologies including full-color printing, signs, posters and banners, mailing services, promotional products and print management solutions.

Purchase of ALC Copies
We are very pleased to have purchased ALC Copies recently from John Chmil. One of the reasons I felt this acquisition would succeed is the common way we each bring value to our customers, through outstanding service and quality products. Also, our customer bases are similar in that we both serve the Professional Offices, Nonprofits, Educational Sectors, and Small Local Businesses.
I would like to give you some background on our company. Allegra Providence has been serving Rhode Island businesses for over 25 years and we are located on the East Side of Providence. My wife and I bought the business 3 years ago. So after having spent 35 years working in the Corporate world, where my career took us to other parts of the country, our plan was always to come back home to RI and be closer to our family and friends.
We have had very good success in the 3 years we owned the business which has more than doubled in revenue during this time. We have accomplished this by assembling an incredible team, providing excellent customer service and products, as well as expanding the products and services we offer. What we are most proud of is our team. And although everyone has a primary role, we all do what is necessary to make sure we meet our customers’ expectations. Also, what is unique about our business is all our team members have a College Degree in Graphic Design. As such I would like to take this opportunity to introduce Our Team to you.
Allegra’s services include: Printing, Mailing Services, Signs & Graphics, Labels, Tradeshow and Displays, and Promotional Products.
Please know you can continue to use the ALC Copies telephone number and email address. But you may want to update your records with the Allegra contact information which is below.
- Telephone # (401) 421-5160
- Email address: print@allegraprovidence.com
We wish John the best in his new life in Colorado and we look forward to working with all of you to earn your business and trust.
Sincerely,
Bud McCann
