OUR COMMUNITY

At Allegra, the businesses and nonprofits in and around Burlington are the lifeblood of what we do. We know a business can only remain as strong as the community it serves. It’s a pretty simple business philosophy that helps keep this community vital.

Like you, we are local business owners who live, work and play in this community. Our commitment to the Burlington area goes beyond just doing business here.

ALLEGRA RECOGNIZED FOR CONTINUED SUPPORT OF THE B.R.A.V.O. PROGRAM

Allegra Marketing Print Mail was recently given the Award of Appreciation for Continued Support of the B.R.A.V.O. program. Allegra has printed (and donated) every DARE certificate issued in Halton schools since the program’s inception in 1998. The DARE program was discontinued last year with the Halton Police Department developing an alternate drug awareness program: B.R.A.V.O.

BURLINGTON’S SOUND OF MUSIC FESTIVAL

Canada’s largest FREE music festival, with an annual attendance in excess of 250,000 – Allegra Halton sponsored the festival for over 25 years and continues to promote this amazing event.

TERRY FOX FOUNDATION

A charity with a very personal connection, we are proud to help support our local Terry Fox Foundation.

THINKING GREEN. PRINTING SMARTER.

The printing process can be resource intensive, but there are many “green practices” we can incorporate in our daily work routines to help diminish the amount of waste we generate. Here are some methods we are currently using:

  • Recycling Programs – From paper to ink to money and everything in between, recycling saves. It also reduces air pollution and waste to landfills.
  • Controlling Waste – By establishing inventory controls, we reduce waste and save cash. Sequencing print jobs by common elements helps save time in labour while eliminating waste.
  • Using Resources Wisely – Incorporating recycled papers – with high levels of post-consumer content – into your communications projects helps keep a lot of paper out of landfills.
  • Reducing Waste – Often jobs produce end cut waste that is useful blank stock. Allegra Halton donates these end cuts to local schools and churches to be used in crafting.
  • Repurposing Outdated Stationey - When change of address or logo is required on stationery, Allegra repurposes your old stationery into scratch pads for you at no cost.

You can choose print communications to be part of your mix … and feel good about it. Having a partner that knows what’s essential to you and your brand image makes the choices easy.
